Frictionless sharing? 
It works well on niche social networks dedicated to specific content (e.g. Last.fm and Nike+). In these cases, the frictionlessly shared content is contextual to interests of the community. 
On large general social networks like Facebook, it’s simply terrible. Non-contextual sharing without curation is simply noise for the 99%. Glad to see the numbers “falling off a cliff right now”.
